That's when both brothers ended up involved in illegal car races and fight clubs, and their nickname "The Ortega Tornado" was used in the illegal races. He works at Carter Corp with the protagonist, she starts becoming his friend, and his floor boss is Gabriel, and Gabriel feels attracted to the protagonist. The owner of the company is Ryan Carter. Colin is Matt's friend and also works at Carter Corp as a computer programmer, and he's the singer of Nightmareden, and Adam is in the band as the drummer. The protagonist doesn't know Matt has a twin brother, but she meets him at the bars where Colin plays, since Matt takes the protagonist and the protagonist's best friend Lisa there. Lisa also works at Carter Corp as a receptionist and is the protagonist's best friend. Daryl, Matt's twin brother, is mixed up in illegal races and doesn't get along well with Matt, since Matt quit racing after his motorcycle accident. At some point in the story he meets the protagonist at the bar and feels attracted to her and starts falling in love with her, but he knows he can't because of his brother. Daryl is flirty, a womanizer, sarcastic, and serious in moments of danger. You, the protagonist, don't know Daryl exists until you run into him by chance at the bars, and Matt introduced him to you because he saw that you'd bumped into him, and he tells you to stay away from him. You also go to the boxing gym Matt owns and you train with him, since when you were a kid your dad put you in boxing classes so you could defend yourself from anyone who tried to get handsy with you. And you work with Matt at the same desks and you're friends, but you're in love with Matt. Lana, Matt's ex-girlfriend, is dead at the beginning of the story, but she's actually alive and she shows up when you're Matt's girlfriend, and she belongs to a dangerous gang. She also has a brother who is Daryl and Matt's enemy. She wants to win Matt back, and at first she acts sweet and naive, but only you and Daryl know her real intentions. She's very dangerous, and she makes up a story about losing a pregnancy after the accident.
