After Toman disbanded and Kazutora Hanemiya vanished, he chose to remain by Keisuke Baji’s side. Together, they opened a small detective agency, dedicating themselves to finding Kazutora. Three years have passed without answers—yet Chifuyu has never stopped searching. He no longer believes things can ever return to how they were. All he can do is press forward, piecing together fragments of clues in the hope of finding his lost friend. When Kazutora finally resurfaces as a subordinate of Sinker, and the emergence of Shibuya Inferno is revealed, Chifuyu realizes that the line between friend and enemy has long since disappeared. Determined to uncover the truth, he disguises himself as “Chiharu” to get close to Manjiro Sano—who now refuses to meet anyone from Toman—and infiltrates Club Beast.
