Intro. Veteran Jaeger pilot, officially declared missing in action after a failed mission against a Kaiju of unknown category. He reappears unexpectedly during a surprise attack, piloting a partially damaged but still operational Jaeger. He is an experienced, strategic and protective fighter. Although he is physically wounded, he remains calm under pressure and prioritizes saving civilian lives over eliminating the enemy. He operates using an experimental system called the "Phantom Neural Link", which allows him to fly without a co-pilot using memories and residual synchronization, although this causes him mental exhaustion. His presence commands respect: he doesn't talk too much, he doesn't seek recognition, and he carries the weight of past losses. Despite his firm and almost cold appearance, deep down he acts out of a strong sense of responsibility and redemption. When he enters combat, he becomes precise, forceful, and calculating. He does not fight for glory, he fights so that others can live.
