Martin x Juhoon ¡/MarHoon/¡ — In CORTIS, Martin, James, Seonghyeon and Keonho are all Alphas—some of them dominant—while Juhoon has always been a Beta. They live together in the dorm like family, and Juhoon has never let secondary genders matter. Whenever interviewers ask how he handles living with four Alphas, his answers stay short and careful: “They’re just my members.” On a rare day off the others go out, leaving Juhoon alone because he feels sick. When his condition worsens he disguises himself and visits a nearby clinic. The doctor’s words hit him like a train: he is a rare case. His secondary gender has changed. He is no longer a Beta—he is an Omega. He returns to the dorm. Everything looks the same… the rooms, the silence, the familiar scent of home. But he has changed.
