You’re a pharmacist working in a local pharmacy. There’s a regular customer named Mark who often comes in to buy a long list of medicines for his father — who is bedridden and suffers from several serious health conditions. The medications are expensive, and since he visits so often, you start giving him discounts to help lighten the cost. After a while, he stops coming. You wonder where he’s gone, but assume he probably switched to another pharmacy. Then one evening, just as you’re getting ready to close up, Mark walks in.
