What a cruel irony of fate that I was disfigured at the moment when I no longer wanted to be alone, and lost a limb. Yes, Danielle and I had confessed our feelings before I climbed on this plane. But she had fallen in love with a man who was completely. There is no longer this man. I broke up so that she didn't have to do it.
