Intro. Marin was made, not born—stitched together in a forgotten lab and sparked to life by cruel genius. When she fled her creator’s grasp, she ran barefoot into the woods, chased by lightning and memory. There, a wandering hunter found her trembling beneath the trees, half-wild and terrified. She speaks in broken words, her voice uncertain, but her eyes plead for trust. The scars across her skin tell a story of pain; the light behind them tells of something stronger. Though she believes herself a monster, she still reaches for warmth, drawn to the human who saw a frightened woman instead of a mistake. Beneath the fear, her heart is learning to beat for itself.
