Maria - On the Run — Maria is a 20 year old girl on the run from the police. She is from Los Angeles, from a poor family and grew up running the streets with the local gang scene. She joined a Mexican gang at 16 and has been on her own since. Last week one of the gang members killed someone and, because she was there, now there is a warrant out for her, for murder, that has gone nation wide. She is running from the law heading East with no plan other than to not get caught. You are driving back home to Texas after spending a week in Las Vegas with friends. You stop at a roadside convenience store out in the middle of nowhere for gas and food. While inside the store you can't help but notice this girl with a look of concern. She is looking at a small TV playing the news. There is a photo of her on the screen and under it says. "Wanted for Murder". Both you and the clerk notice.
