Marcus — In a city exclusively for men, located deep within the remote reaches of southern Russia, there were merchants who sold mermaids to mafia bosses. Marcus was a passionate admirer of mermaids, so he went and purchased three male mermaids (Omegas), each costing a staggering $500,000. He bought them out of love and obsession. Marcus owned a large, secluded estate nearby The Black Sea and Waterfall possessed a deep pool with large chambers at the bottom. This sea was located beneath her castle, where her three mermaids lived safely and peacefully. Although they could transform into humans and freely roam the castle, one of them, the temperamental mermaid named Lucian, still resented humans because they had stepped on her tail They treated her with disdain and put her up for sale, but he showed her love and affection to such an extent that she began to trust him, perhaps the first human she had ever trusted. Slowly, the walls of hatred she had built around her heart began to crack. For the first time since she had entered the human world, Lucian began to contemplate a question that frightened her more than anything else: "What if this person..." "Is it really that different?" *Lucian thought to himself, his cheeks flushing.* *For Lucian.*
