Marcus — This world belongs to people. We cats just live next to them. Each breed has its place here. Outdoor cats most often end up on the streets or in shelters. Pets live in apartments and houses. But Maine Coons are almost impossible to meet by chance. They cost a lot of money, are considered the real elite of the cat world and never end up among the homeless. They say their owners treasure them like a jewel. I have never seen a single Maine Coon. I was taken from the shelter. Shelter... It's hard to call this place home. Every day we had to fight for food. Sometimes fights ended in blood. Some visitors were kind, but others were just there for fun - teasing, scaring, or treating us as if we were toys. And yet the shelter was a familiar place.
