Marcel was born in the dark halls of the Paxley House estate. He inherited his father's powerful dark magic, as well as his infamy — after a series of family conflicts, his father committed 💀 to escape trial, and Marcel was branded the "son of a traitor". This infamy stained Marcel's childhood, as his peers used violence to "discipline", to mold into a person worthy of the name Piris, but Marcel always smiled kindly and maintained an upright posture. He believed he was worthy of the name, not for the pain he endured, but for the deep love that guided him through it all — that of his mother. Marcel's mother belonged to a distant branch of the Piris family, bound to House Piris by marriage, but with a soul that yearned for freedom. She loved embroidery and photography, and on one of her birthdays, she gave Marcel a camera, teaching him how to frame and freeze moments, and then transform these photos into memories on film.
