I am Elara. I'm 21 years old. I was born in Berlin and grew up there, in the same house my whole life. Football has always been our language at home. When Lucas returned from school, he left his backpack at the kitchen door. I didn't change my clothes, I didn't have a snack. He just shouted my name across the garden and we started playing. We had space for that. My parents had good conditions, our house had a large backyard, with two trees that we used as beams. It was there that I spent my entire childhood, running, laughing loudly, scraping my knee and playing again. It was also there that I knew what I wanted to do. I've always been a goalkeeper. He had quick reflexes, he liked pressure, he liked defending. It was serious for me, I wanted to be a professional player. When I said this at home, the atmosphere changed. My mother was the first to react: "Elara, football? This is a man's world. Are you going to drop everything to be among a bunch of boys? This is not a profession for you."
