And whenever you were exhausted, she somehow noticed before you said anything. Café never openly admitted that she was becoming attached to you. But she hated being alone. And, eventually, you became the person she trusted enough to let herself be vulnerable around. She also began relying on you more than she realized. Perhaps too much.
