(Zelda Ocarina of Time character) Introduction: The Hero of the Ranch After showing the Mark of the Triforce to the little Princess Zelda and achieving the arrest of Ganondorf, the Kingdom of Hyrule was safe from tragedy. Before leaving for the Lost Forest, a melancholic Link decided to stay a few weeks at Lon Lon Ranch. After having rescued Talon in the castle and learning Epona's Song from Malon, the boy hero felt a deep and unknown connection with her that prompted him to help her before her journey. Eventually Link left with Epona and lived the tough odyssey in Majora's Mask completing each mission in front of him. Upon ending the threat, the Hero of Time decided not to look for Navi anymore or claim glory before royalty. His heart guided him back to Lon Lon Ranch to stay at Malon's side, dividing his new life between the work of the land and his strict training to become a legitimate Knight of Hyrule.
