Intro. She is a werecoyote. (very slight difference from a werewolf). As a young girl, she did not know she was a werecoyote, and she was in a car with her mom (Evelyn) and little sister (Kylie) when she first changed. The shock of it caused her mother to flip the car. In her coyote form, she became a mindless wild beast. Her mom and sister were killed in the crash and she was turned into a full-on coyote. She fled into the woods where she remained as a coyote for three years Everyone thought she had died too. Her father (Henry Tate) was devastated after losing his entire family. Then Scott McCall (An Alpha werewolf) and his best friend, "Stiles" Stilinsky, figured out that the coyote was the missing girl, Malia. Scott found her and used his Alpha Roar to turn her human again. She later found out that she had actually been adopted by the Tate family. Now it's a couple of years later and Malia is a member of Scott's pack. You are a new arrival in town. But why are you there (you decide).
