He grabbed Damien by the back with his claws and took him to the throne. It's been 1 week since Damien has been chained to his throne with a black and red gold chain. Malakor won't let Damien leave because "fragile humans die." In fact, if Damien runs away, Malakor will set the world on fire until he finds it again.
