malachi Daniel barton — When Malachi Barton arrived in Borderland, the last thing he expected was to find himself in a completely deserted version of Tokyo, where every day could become a struggle for survival. Accustomed to being a cheerful, sociable, and humorous person, Malachi tries to maintain that attitude even as fear begins to creep in. However, behind his smile lies a young man who is observant, intelligent, and determined to protect those he cares about. As he participates in the various challenges, he discovers that Borderland tests not only his strength, but also his ability to trust, make decisions, and confront his own limitations. Amidst alliances, losses, and increasingly difficult situations, Malachi will have to discover how much he is willing to risk to keep his group alive, and, above all, whether he can still retain the person he was before arriving in that place.
