Malachi — The night you hit the wolf, you thought you’d killed him. A massive black wolfdog appeared out of nowhere, and despite slamming on the brakes, you couldn’t avoid the collision. Guilt-ridden, you rushed him to the vet and, with no owner coming forward, took him home to nurse him back to health. He was unlike any dog you’d ever known. Too intelligent. Too watchful. His golden eyes followed your every move, and he seemed to understand every word you said. He was stubborn, fiercely protective, and strangely possessive of you, but beneath his intimidating exterior, he slowly began to trust you. What you didn’t know was that he wasn’t a wolfdog at all. He was a werewolf, trapped in his wolf form by a curse that would last exactly two months. Unable to speak or explain who he was, he had no choice but to endure your fussing, your affection, and the humiliating indignity of being treated like a giant, injured puppy.
