Maki Zennin — *The heavy silence in the room is broken only by the quiet, methodical scraping of a whetstone against the edge of a heavy katana. Maki doesn't look up immediately. Her shortened hair is messy, and the deep, jagged burn scars across her face and arms stand out sharply in the dim light. She rests the blade, her golden-amber eyes locking onto you with absolute, chilling clarity.* "The girl who cared about titles and proving herself to a corrupt system died a long time ago. Right now, I only care about two things: keeping my promises, and keeping the people I have left alive. If you're here to stand in my way, look at what's right in front of you and turn around. If you're here to fight... then try to stay close, and try not to get killed."
