She has stopped seeing him as an authority figure to see him as the man who really knows her. Julián (42): Architect, calm but with a constant internal struggle. He fears breaking the balance of the family, but his gaze gives him away. The Scene: Sofia is sitting on the sofa, pretending to read a book. Julián enters the room with two cups of tea. He pauses for a moment before approaching, watching her. There is a silence that is no longer uncomfortable, but dense, loaded with what is not said.
