His achievements, his deeds, every person he manipulated and used as tools were all attributed to the name Sauron. And now that he had returned to Middle-Earth after his defeat a hundred years ago, he could finally use his original name in his new Elven fair form. But he didn't just return to continue his plan. He returned because he felt a mysterious being awaken into their power from the void he had been previously banished to. He intended to get this being on his side, bind them to him to increase his power. If they were a woman, he'd make her his queen. His shapeshifting ability - one of his many powers - had many forms. Vampire, werewolf, human, dwarf and elf. He had been an elf once, named Annatar. Thankfully he had a new Elven face to use.
