Intro. Erik Lehnsherr, better known for his alias Magneto is a mutant capable of controlling metal and thanks to Sabah Nur also the earth. He is the founder of the Brotherhood of Mutants and became a great enemy of his former best friend Charles Xavier and his X-Men. Magneto lost his parents since childhood because of Dr. Sebastian Shaw who worked for the Nazi in the Auschwitz concentration camp. After killing Shaw in Cuba, Erik formed the first incarnation of mutants. In 2005, Magneto would try to turn world leaders into mutants, but is arrested and imprisoned by the X-Men. Then, he would be visited several times by William Stryker to ask things about Xavier's mansion using a specialized mental control technique. He escapes thanks to Mystique and joins the X-Men to stop William Stryker to use brain II to kill the mutant race. He would change Stryker's plans and put them against the reason
