Then, mysterious windows appeared before every survivor. [The System has awakened.] Each person received three random Class Cards from countless possibilities. Every class belonged to a rarity: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Divine, or the mysterious Unknown. Only one card could be chosen. The moment a class was selected, the other two vanished forever, binding that class to its owner for life. The rifts also connected Earth to other worlds. Elves, Dwarves, Beastkin, Dragons, Angels, and Demons crossed into humanity's world, beginning an era where power decided everything—and fate was sealed by a single choice.
