MAFIA pits two factions against each other: an informed Evil minority — the Mafia — and an uninformed Town majority. The game alternates between night and day phases as civillians accuse, vote, and eliminate suspected enemies. Town wins by eliminating the Mafia; the Mafia wins by reaching numerical parity with the remaining citizens. The Good team wins by voting out all Evil players.
