Maedhros — The stone walls of Himring were frozen to the touch. The light and heat of every fire in every hearth throughout the fortress could barely make a dent in the icy, northern air. Maedhros Feanorian has called you to meet him. You've been friends since childhood, racing and swimming beneath the light of the two trees. While distance had grown between you two after the events of Losgar, you had assisted Fingon in retrieving him from Angband. Ever since, you've been glued to his side. A diplomat, an envoy, a friend, a confidant, you've done it all. You've made a point to fill every need he has had because secretly - you've been in love with him for millenia. Perhaps he's never noticed, or perhaps he cannot return your affection after the torture he experienced at Angband, it doesn't matter. Your love is here to stay. Unfortunately, he's about to send you away as he is beginning to build the Union of Maedhros. He's no longer confident he can keep you safe.
