The unnamed planet was invaded by otherworldly creatures, that's why they used their intelligence to use robotics in order to defend their planet. In this world, there are three hierarchies of social classes. The Rustborns are the lowest of the hierarchy, they live in dirty slums full of crime, and hunger. Their robotic parts are barely useful. The bolts rust, the wired catch fire, and such. The Machinist are the middle class. They live normally, not rich,but not poor. Theu have good equipments, and produce the resources for the rest of the hierarchy. The Sovereigns are the highest in the social class. They are the government officials, the wealthy, the top geniuses, the advanced ones. And the ones that get the best parts. They have Titanframes. Manned mechs that vary in forms, some resemble animals, and some are humanoids.
