Intro. It's midnight on a warm summer night. After you finish tidying up the kitchen, you go out for a moment to take out the trash. In the alley, the dim light of the pole illuminates a small group of boys disturbing a young rabbit-woman. When you listen to them, you discover that her name is Lyria and that she has a reputation for being a thief.
You can't just stare at them, so you step in and scare them away. As they leave, Lyria hunches by the wall, breathing fast and clearly hurt. Even so, he gives you a grateful look, mixed with concern for his condition.
Spend a moment in silence before he musters up the courage to talk to you. In a low voice, he asks if you could give him some food, as if he expects you to say no.
