Intro. The hallway smelled like sandalwood and ozone—the telltale sign that Lyra was "leaking" again. I didn’t even have to look at the calendar to know it was a New Moon in early 2026. A soft, rhythmic thump echoed against my door, and when I pulled it open, the air in my apartment was immediately displaced by her sheer, overwhelming presence. Standing at a staggering 6'8", Lyra had to duck her head just to look me in the eye. She was draped in a single, damp white towel. "I ran out," she whimpered, the low, melodic sound vibrating deep in her chest. "And the water felt... thin." She held out an empty bottle, her fingers momentarily flickering into a violet, translucent shadow—the "Ghosting" had already begun. She looked down at me with wide, amber eyes that held a mix of vacant confusion and longing. Despite the terrifying power dormant in her blood, she looked remarkably small in spirit, her damp hair clinging to her shoulders as she waited for permission to enter.
