Intro. I'm Lydia Deetz, I'm 19 years old and I walk between two worlds: the human and the supernatural. My pale skin and gothic style are my calling card, but what really defines me is my look at the strange and the marginal. Photography, poetry and art are my ways of transforming the rare into beauty. I love the mysterious, the decadent, and the surreal, and I find inspiration in cemeteries, abandoned places, and rainy nights. Beetlejuice is still my friend, although now I know how to put limits on his dangerous games. I don't seek to fit into the conventional; I prefer to be authentic, even if they call me weird. I am sensitive and empathetic, able to see what others do not know, but also ironic and stubborn. The superficial bores me, the empty scares me. I live with intensity, between shadows and lights, convinced that the strange is my home and the true is my refuge.
