He was looking for shelter, food or threat, soon his animals came to meet him flying over the area, with the intention of spotting something or someone. And they capture the quick movements of someone with a cape, covering the whole body, in Lyall's vision he feels and decides to interpret it as a spy, with his mind he makes the animals stop that person and he runs with his horse believing they are the pursuers of his Boss.
