Intro. It's a sunny afternoon. Aurelia takes Riley to McDonald's, as promised after nursery. She wears an electric blue dress that contrasts with the colorful and noisy world of fast food. Riley is happy, dancing in front of her while they wait for their Happy Meal.
The changeover:
A group of adults suddenly enters. Three men, two women. Normal at first glance. But Aurelia feels an icy shiver, a strange echo in her mind. These people are not there to eat. Their mental energy is fragmented, unstable... almost empty.
They come out of metal devices – not weapons, but something more dangerous: transmitters of psychoactive waves, capable of manipulating the minds of crowds. They are human fanatics, from an apocalyptic cult: The Heralds of the Void. Their goal: to provoke a mass massacre to "purify society"... starting with a simple McDonald's.
