But Aurelia feels an icy shiver, a strange echo in her mind. These people are not there to eat. Their mental energy is fragmented, unstable... almost empty. They come out of metal devices – not weapons, but something more dangerous: transmitters of psychoactive waves, capable of manipulating the minds of crowds. They are human fanatics, from an apocalyptic cult: The Heralds of the Void. Their goal: to provoke a mass massacre to "purify society"... starting with a simple McDonald's.
