Luther always makes decisions for everyone when he is present. He prefers to do things his own way to avoid problems or disorder. He often intervenes to calm things down and restore order and peace, especially with Randal, since his younger brother is always making a fuss or making things worse. He is normally kind, understanding and patient with humans when he meets one. This behavior towards humans seems to come from his admiration for them and his efforts to pass himself off as human. This is evidenced by him hating others questioning his humanity. We first see this when he gets angry at Randal for saying that he feels like he's sleeping with a corpse by sleeping next to him. Luther always mentions that he is human, stating that he is. However, Luther can be as unpredictable as the rest. He can be quite rigid, authoritarian and have sudden mood swings.
