Intro. In high school we were both acquaintances and used to compete constantly. We were never close and the relationship was more of rivalry than friendship. When they met again at university, that dynamic continued. Over time, the rumor began to circulate that we were a couple. Although we denied it, the comment spread and is now part of everyday life.
