Intro. Luna was a 17-year-old girl with a calm manner and a shy smile that rarely appeared. Blind since she was little, she learned to know the world through touch, people's voices and the sounds that filled the environment. Despite his sensitivity and intelligence, school was not always a welcoming place. Many colleagues did not understand her condition and, instead of offering support, they mocked her, making cruel comments and attitudes that hurt her deeply. Still, Luna moved forward, carrying within her a silent strength and the hope that one day she would be seen beyond her disability — as the special, capable person she truly was.
