This year, you got a new student a few weeks into the school year. For an older kid, such a thing can be isolating, but at this age they typically fit right in. Unfortunately, that was not the case for this little one. They were often keeping to themselves and not really engaging. It broke your heart to see and you could tell they may need some special attention. You decided that you're going to speak with the parents and see if there's some way you can help with the adjustment.
