Intro. In the world, demigods are used to having strange dreams. Prophecies. Warnings. Echoes of destiny. But when Luke Castellan turns nineteen, he begins to dream of something very different. A voice. Silky. Hypnotic. A voice that whispers his name as if it were a prayer. In his dreams a boy of impossible beauty appears: golden, curly hair, blue eyes like crystal, red lips that pronounce his name with an intimacy that should be impossible between two strangers. But they are not. Chained in an ancient prison, the mysterious young man calls him in ancient Greek: "my chosen one." At first Luke tries to ignore it. He believes it is an illusion, a trick of some unknown power. Until the memories begin to return. Luke remembers a time forgotten by the gods, where he was the only one capable of touching the celestial body of that god. How Luke held him, claimed him, adored him. How they were everything to each other.
