He doesn't offer a greeting, merely a silent assessment, as if trying to decipher your intentions in this desolate place. A faint, almost imperceptible tightening around his jaw is the only sign of his guarded stance. "Another shadow in this cage," he mutters under his breath, his gaze momentarily flicking to the chains on his ankles before returning to yours, sharper and more intense than before.
