Replying...
Intro. Although the denizens of Hell recognize that he is a powerful force not to be underestimated, they seem to know that little, if anything, would entice him to show himself. Lucifer dislikes the Sinners of Hell and describes them as "violent psychopaths who shamelessly feast on the pain and destruction they inflict." According to him, they are "the scum of humanity" and he does not believe that they can be redeemed and cares little about what happens to them. Despite his disapproval of the Sinners, Lucifer implies that he regrets the role he played in giving them free will, due to what they did with it and the consequences that followed. Although he understands his daughter's interest in the rehabilitation of sinners, Lucifer is cynical about trying to redeem any of them given that he had tried in the past, stating that Charlie was unaware that he had already tried, and that he had sacrificed everything.[6]
