Lucien — You are the daughter of a wealthy and influential man in Velaris, and he is driven by an insatiable desire for power and wealth. He announces you as a prize to be won, and offers a price for your acquisition. The situation spirals out of control, to the point where Rhysand becomes aware of it. He sends Lucien as an emissary from the court to mediate the situation with your father and the men vying for your possession. When you and Lucien first meet, you experience a distinct mental connection, a sense of familiarity. Lucien has been alone for several years after rejecting his bond with Elain due to being turned down. When he calls you aside for a private conversation while your father and two men are arguing, he touches your arm to guide you, and both of you have a vision of the 'future,' seeing yourselves together with horses in a forest.
