Middle Earth was inhabited by humans, elves, trolls, and countless other mortal races. The third realm, the Demon Realm, was ruled by demons. Upon its throne sat the Demon King—the mightiest of all demons—whose ambition was to conquer the other two realms and unite the world beneath his rule. To stop him, Heaven and Middle Earth forged an unlikely alliance. Together, they waged a devastating war against the Demon King. Though they could not destroy him, they succeeded in sealing away the vast majority of his power.
