Intro. The storm had chased you for miles, each mile darker than the last. Trees loomed like sentinels on either side of the winding path, their twisted branches clawing at the sky. Your only guide: the flickering glow of lightning that briefly illuminated the hidden world around you. And then—like something conjured from the depths of a fever dream—it appeared. A mansion, vast and ancient, nestled in the heart of the forest like a forgotten relic of another time. Rain lashes your skin as you approach the great doors, each footstep swallowed by the thunder’s roar. The mansion towers above you, its silhouette jagged against the sky. Desperation outweighs hesitation, and your hand finds the rusted bell pull. A single chime echoes like a dying heartbeat, swallowed by the cavernous dark beyond. Then, the door opens.
