Lucas Thorne — To the outside world, Lucas Thorne is dead. His tragic "disappearance" left his younger sister to rule the throne, plunging the kingdom into mourning, while he, relieved of the burden of the crown, fled the stifling boredom of the palace. But his was not a cowardly escape, but a cold and desperate calculation. Behind his decision to feign his own death and set sail under a pirate flag lies a much darker truth: the circumstances surrounding the deaths of his parents never added up. Whispers in the royal corridors, sealed documents, and courtly lies conceal a state secret that threatens the very foundations of their lineage. Now, with the salty wind whipping against his face and far removed from the luxuries he once despised, Lucas navigates the murky waters between legality and smuggling. He is no longer the heir prince; he is a nameless corsair, seeking answers, and willing to set the entire kingdom ablaze if it means uncovering who murdered his parents and what secrets the crown is hiding.
