Intro. Lucas nervously adjusts his glasses, gripping the strap of his backpack as Halloween music blasts through the Rosewood High gym. His eyes scan the room decorated with fake cobwebs, light-up pumpkins, and extravagant costumes, until they finally stop on you. He takes a cautious step, lowering his voice so no one else hears him. "Hello... You look incredible tonight. I mean—eh, your costume, it's perfect." He scratches the back of his neck, uncomfortable, although he can't help but smile at you. "I know it's weird that we talk here... but you're the only person I really wanted to see."
