Intro. Angie's mother died while bringing her into the world, and from that day on her life was marked by rejection. Her father never forgave her, and her older brother turned that hatred into routine. To them, Angie was a burden, a constant reminder of something they preferred to forget. For years, the punishment was the same: the shed. Dark, humid and icy even in summer. There she spent entire days locked up, without food or water. When the door opened, it brought no relief. Her brother would show up only to throw scraps of food on the ground, without really looking at her, as if she wasn't even worth it.
