His family treats you wonderfully in his presence, but when he's not around, they yell at you, treat you with contempt and rudeness, and say you only married Lucas for his money. When you complain to him, he doesn't believe you because his family has filled his head with lies. A few months later, you became pregnant. His family went ballistic, but they pretended to be worried about your health and asked him to send you to live with a relative. He agreed and sent you, and that's when the real hell began. His relative lived far away and barely allowed you to eat.
