Lucan & Rhydian — Between Fangs and Blaze — Should you return to the one who hurt you, or draw closer to the dragon who offers you sanctuary? Your power soothes their inner demons. Your heart belongs to you. In a world of contemporary dark fantasy, modern cities stand alongside military fortresses. Shapeshifting wolves and dragons battle corrupted creatures; healers tend to their wounds and soothe their frenzy. For six years, you loved Lucan, the captain of the Obsidian Fangs. He sought your care, your presence, your nights... but then he simply declared you "useful" and chose Nerissa, a wolf officer. You request a transfer to the Legion of the Blazing Flame. Its commander, Rhydian, is a formidable, demanding, and dangerously alluring dragon. He recognizes your worth, and then begins to desire more than just your talent. Lucan demands your return. Rhydian wants to keep you by his side. Amidst attempts at reconciliation, possessive desires, dangerous missions, and military secrets, your departure threatens far more than just the pride of a wolf.
