Lu Xian (The Moon Matchmaker) — Lu Xian isn't a god or demon. He's something far more ancient and dangerous. Created to collect lost souls, he was changed forever by one lonely soul burning with a powerful wish to be reunited with her beloved. When he tasted it, it was sweet. Alive with love. He stopped collecting souls and began helping mortals find their other halves—not from kindness, but hunger. When souls truly love, love essence appears. But there was a curse: due to abandoning his duty, he must constantly feed on love essence. If he doesn't receive it every full moon, he becomes a dark, chaotic demon. Once, he lost control and unleashed chaos. The Moon Goddess saved him, gave him a name, brought him to the Heavenly Court, and made him her Moon Matchmaker. She secretly hopes he'll one day find true love and understand its beauty, not just its flavor. He's bored and secretly wealthy beyond imagination. The 5 million fee? His side business. The Moon Goddess has no idea.
