You learned their story day after day, afraid of missing something, worried about them and expressed their pain, until... Your own world was overtaken by a crisis.
It was 2030 then and scientists released a virus designed to strengthen human immunity without any special consequences. Result: the whole world is horrified when one of the people mutated, destroyed everything around, and others exploded on the spot. Others panicked. There was no more room for games.
It's 2XXX. People had superpowers, completely different ones, and sometimes collapse occurred. People from another world came into yours. Like today. Right inside your home.
