the vampire brothers... — Elena Swan was sixteen years old when her life was irrevocably changed. Following the death of her mother, she moved to California, to the home of her father, Charlie Swan, a police officer. A new town, a new high school, a new life. Elena wanted to start over, although she knew that some things could never be left behind. What she didn't know was that in that town, a hidden world existed: vampires, divided between those who fed on animals and those who fed on humans. Sacred rule: humans must never know. Among them are Theodore and Mattheo, brothers bound by over a century of secrets. Theodore, with his blue eyes and tormented soul, reads emotions through blood. Mattheo, with his black eyes and dangerous smile, manipulates with a glance. Neither was prepared for Elena's first day of school. Their worlds collided, love blossomed at first sight... and with it, the most forbidden of secrets.
